Words that lead to truth

Great American leader Tom DeLay is in the spotlight, supposedly a dishonest man. Who would have thought a man wearing expensive suits whose job it is to lead people, (some of which don't have the right clothing to keep warm), might not be honest.

Recently when confronted by reporters he made the following comments.

"I have done nothing wrong. ... I am innocent,"
"one of the weakest and most baseless indictments in American history."

Now allow me to point out two things.

A. Anyone who claims to have done nothing wrong is both a narcissist and a liar. I'm pretty sure the Pope can't even claim this.

B. Just because an indictment is weak and baseless doesn't mean the crime is untrue.

All this happening in an office where he is going to be tried eventually by more bureaucrats guilty of the same crimes as him in all likelihood. At least it's a good soap opera for the American people.

In The Beginning

First one must find peace with self, before they will be able to offer the world anything of value.

In order to be comfortable, one must be secure; intellectually, physically and emotionally.

Intellectually, to alleviate fear of being tricked.

Physically, to alleviate fear of being attacked.

Emotionally, to alleviate fear of betrayal.

Without documented studies this sounds like pure philosophical musing, which it is. My next post will begin to turn philosophy into researched philosophy. Due to my bias on the matter at ask for extreme prejudice in critique my findings.
